Risqué Ribbons – Halloween Showcase Term

Set the scene for the perfect murder in this darkly glamorous Halloween showcase routine. In Risqué Ribbons, you’ll combine elegant technique with a chilling twist. Think silky dressing gowns, seductive stocking peels, and just enough suspense to keep the audience on edge.

This class is part of our Halloween Showcase Term, and you’ll have the opportunity to perform in our Divine Halloween Showcase on Saturday, 11th October.

Risqué Ribbons is our pre-performer level — perfect for students preparing to take the leap into solo acts or more advanced stage work. You’ll build on your burlesque foundation with strong dance technique, striptease skills, musicality, and performance character. Expect refined choreography, prop work (including gloves, boas, and more), and a deliciously dramatic routine inspired by vintage noir and murder mystery.

To join this class, students must:

• Have completed at least three terms of Intermediate Burlesque OR have previous dance experience in modern styles

• Speak with their Darwin Divine teacher before enrolling for the first time
